I sometimes wonder how companies get away with charging so much for wedding invitations and cards. There are lots of card shops around and an average card price has gone up so much. When I was small there were always cards that I could afford to buy for my Mummy and Daddy using just a small amount of pocket money. Now I cannot imagine that my children would be able to save up enough money in a year to buy me a card, it is lucky that I much prefer a home – made one. I suppose that is the reason why more and more people are either making their own cards or sending e-cards or using a printer for their wedding invitation cards. I guess it could be the fact that people are making their own that is forcing the card shops to put their prices up in order to keep the profits up despite the decline in demand. I guess everything is getting more expensive these days and so I will just have to accept the rising prices and look around even harder for a bargain, I am sure that I will find one if I look around long enough and hard enough.
