I am planning a surprise bridal shower for my daughter soon. She is having a very small wedding because she does not have a lot of money and decided not t have a bridal shower as she felt it was inappropriate to invite friends and family to that when they were not coming to the wedding. However, I have spoken to some of her friends about it and they would all love to have a get together with her and quite understand that she can only afford to have a few wedding guests. They want a chance to congratulate her and give her a gift. I have therefore been working hard picking out bridal shower invitations, sorting out guest lists, working out what food to prepare and the most difficult of all ? thinking of a way to hide it from my daughter and get her to the venue without her suspecting anything! I think that will be quite a challenge but it will be worth it in the end. Well, I must get on and choose some nice bridal shower favors to finish off, my table decorations, I am not good at making decisions so it could take me some time, especially as I want everything to be perfect!
